We do not make money when you spend.

When you pay a plumber, replace a roof, buy a filter, or hire anyone for the house, Britemet takes nothing. No percentage of the job. No lead fee. No paid placement that steers you toward whoever pays us more.

  • We are not a contractor marketplace and we do not sell your request as a lead
  • Vendor memory is your history of who you used and what you paid - not a sponsored directory
  • Capital Plan cost ranges are planning figures for your state, never presented as a quote and never a paid bid funnel
  • Repair Room helps you run the job with a packet, evidence, and invoices you already have - it does not broker the hire

We do not profit from your household data.

Your maintenance logs, inventory, codes, documents, and family context exist so you can run the house. They are not inventory we sell, rent, or package for advertisers or data brokers.

30 days free, no card required, then early bird $59.99/year. Start by August 1, 2027 and you keep that rate for as long as your subscription stays active - not just until 2027. New households after that date are $119.99/year. Unlimited members on one household plan.

No cut of your home spend.

Lead-gen and marketplace models win when you spend more on services. That pressure shows up in ranking, urgency, and who gets your phone number. We refuse that model so the product never has a reason to push a hire you did not choose.

No secondary market in your data.

Some products are free because the user is the product. Britemet Home is paid because your records are operational, sensitive, and yours. Encryption, roles, and export exist to protect that - not to polish a data asset for resale.

Plain English

If a feature only makes sense when we take a cut of a job or sell a lead, we will not ship it.

That includes paid contractor placement, auctioned homeowner leads, and any design where your distress is our upside. We will help you prepare, remember, and claim what you are owed - and stay out of the transaction between you and the people you hire.

Security is how we protect data. Policy is how we refuse to misuse it. Both matter.

Purpose limit

Household operational data is used to provide Britemet Home: maintenance, forecasts, claims prep, roles, and support. Not to train a public model on your private life without your control, and not to target you with ads.

No sale

We do not sell personal data

We do not sell personal data to advertisers. We do not sell AI prompts or household context as a product. Sub-processors (AWS, payment processing, and similar) run the service under our instructions - they are not a back door to resale.

Minimize

Sensitive fields stay sealed

Wi-Fi passwords, safe and alarm codes, and medical vault fields use field-level AES-256-GCM encryption, audited reveals, and role gates. On the iPhone and Android apps, Face ID or fingerprint before every reveal, screenshots blocked, values hidden again after 30 seconds.

Control

Export, roles, delete

Invite only the people you choose. Child and sitter roles see less by design. Take a full export whenever you want. Close the account from inside the product. AI can be turned off for the whole household in Settings.

AI boundary

Brit is optional and scoped

When AI is on, production uses Claude on AWS Bedrock under our account. Vault data is designed never to go to a model. Free-text you type can go to the model - the product warns you not to paste secrets. Full detail in the AI Policy.

Third parties

No tracking stack on this site

This marketing site self-hosts fonts and does not load advertising pixels for ad targeting. The product uses what it needs to authenticate and operate - not a surveillance layer for marketers.
